QUARTERLY ASSESSMENT
NOTICE
The MTA
quarterly assessment is collected in accordance with Article VI,
Section 6.02 of the Mililani Town DCCR. Assessments are due and
payable by each MTA homeowner in equal quarterly installments on or
before the first day of every January, April, July and October. As
of April 1, 2008, the quarterly assessment is $96.00.
Effective April 1, 2010, the quarterly
assessment will increase to $102.00.
Per Administrative Resolution #7, adopted 02/16/94, a late
charge in the amount of $10.00 will be assessed on all delinquent
accounts after the 10th day of the month in which the assessment is
due.
Any account that is more than 30 days delinquent may be sent a
Final Notice stating that the account will be turned over to the
Association’s attorney if payment in full is not received within 10
days.
Quarterly Reminder
The Quarterly Assessments are due on the FIRST DAY of the months of
JANUARY, APRIL, JULY, and OCTOBER. As a courtesy to our Homeowners,
REMINDER NOTICES are sent to homeowners with a BALANCE DUE*.
To avoid overlooking this obligation of being a Homeowner in the
Mililani Community, approximately 20% of our 15,800 homeowners are
currently on our SurePay Program.
This program automatically deducts
the Assessment amount quarterly from your Financial Institution through
your checking or savings account. It has been extremely
successful in relieving Homeowners of the stress of remembering to
submit a quarterly assessment payment and avoiding a $10.00 late fee
charge. In our current economy, we are all trying to be as
frugal and efficient with our monies as best we can.

Quarterly Assessment
Reminders are mailed approximately 15 days before the due date.
Reminders are not mailed to homeowners who have a zero or credit
balance or are on MTA’s SurePay Automatic Payment Plan. New
homeowners who purchased their property after the reminders were
generated will not receive a reminder until the following quarter.
Homeowners are cautioned that the Quarterly Assessments Reminders
are just a "Reminder" and not a billing. If a reminder is not
received, homeowners are still obligated to make payment by the
established due date as noted in the Mililani Town DCCR Sec.
6.02(d).
Homeowners that do dot receive a reminder 10 days before the due
date and do not fall into one of the above situations, should
contact the MTA Accounting Department at 623-7300 to verify the
homeowner’s correct mailing address and to determine whether there
is a balance due on their account.
Payments sent using the envelope and accompanied with the properly
completed remittance stub are received by the bank and thus
processed quicker. Checks are to be made payable to "Mililani Town
Association" or "MTA" with the homeowner’s MTA account number or
Mililani property address noted on the check. Postage is required on
the return envelope provided.
Payments without a remittance stub must be sent
directly or
brought to the Mililani Town Association at 95-303 Kaloapau St
Mililani, HI 96789. Payments are accepted at the Administration
Offices Mon-Fri from 8 am to 4 pm and at the Recreation Center III
Monday thru Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and
Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm excluding holidays. Payments must be
accompanied with the MTA Account number or Mililani property address
to ensure payments are processed accurately.
Post-dated Checks are not accepted and will be returned to the
payer. It is MTA’s policy not to accept post-dated checks as they
are not negotiable at the time they are presented.
Questions regarding
homeowner accounts should be made to 623-7300 anytime during normal
business hours, 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We will be
happy to assist you.
