Hosted by Oahu Free Plant Shares
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

WHAT IS A PLANT SHARE? A Plant Share is a wonderful way to share and acquire extra homegrown plants, cuttings, or seeds for free, fostering a love for gardening, increasing biodiversity, and helping people get new plants on a budget without money changing hands. Participants bring healthy, pest-free plants or seeds and swap them for new varieties, sometimes bringing treats like baked goods to share, too, making it a fun, sustainable way to grow.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: To participate, simply bring a few plants to share. No trading, sales or bartering within the PLANT SHARE area. See something you like? Feel free to take one home – but please limit taking one type of plant (especially at the start so others can enjoy the variety).

NO PLANTS TO SHARE? No problem! Bring other plant-related items or non-perishable goodies to share! Useable (unused) gardening supplies, seeds, even manapua or donuts!

WHEN DO I DROP OFF MY ITEMS? Please drop off your items from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Plant Share Tent. The Plant Share will be active from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. only. You will receive a numbered participation ticket when you drop off your items. More information will be available at the event.

DO WE NEED A TICKET TO PARTICIPATE? Yes. Only participants who have items to share (see above for accepted items) can participate. To prevent overcrowding in the tent, numbered participation tickets will be passed out at the Plant Share tent when you drop off your items. More information will be available at the event.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LEFTOVER GOODS? All leftover non-perishable items will be taken to free-stores by Oahu Free Plant Shares.

PLANT SHARE GUIDELINES:

  • No money is exchanged at the plant share. No trading, bartering, or sales.
  • No boxes at the share tables please. Leave your LABELED boxes in your car or off to the side.
  • Please kokua and do not take things from labeled boxes.
  • NO RESALE OF PLANTS OR SHARED ITEMS.
  • Please ask the host (Albert Fung, 3D Prints 808) if you have any questions.
