e-bike discussion April 17th

Many people have reported to MTA their negative experiences with e-bikes/dirt bikes throughout Mililani.  They report almost getting run over on sidewalks/walkways, groups of kids riding wheelies up and down busy streets, and people tearing up private property as well as MTA common area land, including Ravine Park in Mauka.

If you’ve had encounters with e-bikes/dirt bikes, we would like to hear from you.  We are having a discussion at the April 17th Board meeting and would like community input to brainstorm solutions to this community-wide problem.  The meeting will be held at Rec. 3, and begins at 7pm.  We have also requested to have an HPD officer attend to provide information on the laws relating to e-bikes/dirt bikes.

The doors will open at 6:45pm and the meeting will start promptly at 7pm.  The e-bike topic is at the top of the agenda.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to email in your comments, please send them to Dave O’Neal, General Manager, at .
